A working 1929 Zeiss Ikon Maximar 9x12cm large format folding plate camera. Made in Germany, this European equivalent to the US 4×5 was used to shoot “The Skull” in this collection.
The black, irregular frame you see around the image is the actual edges of undeveloped sheet film.
